What TagVault is
TagVault is software for recording and scheduling portable appliance testing. It keeps records that support your AS/NZS 3760 program.
What TagVault is not
TagVault does not make you or your clients compliant with anything. It does not confer competency, training or licensing, it does not check that a test was performed correctly, and it does not certify that any obligation has been met. Whether you may perform test & tag work commercially depends on your state or territory — Queensland, for example, requires an electrical contractor licence. Knowing and meeting those requirements is your responsibility.
Your data
Your records are yours. You can export all of them as CSV at any time, including while your subscription is lapsed or cancelled. We do not sell your data or your clients' data, and we do not contact your clients on our own initiative.
Your clients' data
You are responsible for having the right to enter your clients' details, and for what you put in the product. Client portal links give read access to whoever holds them — treat them like keys, and revoke a link when someone leaves.
Subscriptions
Plans are billed monthly in advance unless stated otherwise. A founding licence is a one-off payment covering the first twelve months. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. We do not give pro-rata refunds for partial months, but if something has gone wrong, email us — we would rather sort it out than argue.
Founding operator deposits
A founding deposit is fully refundable at any time before launch, no questions asked, by emailing us.
Availability
We aim to keep TagVault running but do not promise uninterrupted service. The field app is designed to work offline precisely because connectivity — ours or yours — cannot be assumed.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to TagVault is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using TagVault at any time. We may suspend an account for non-payment or for misuse that puts other customers at risk. If we ever shut TagVault down we will give at least 90 days' notice and keep exports working throughout.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
